Since 2014, TalTech graduation theses are preserved and made openly accessible via the Digital Collection of TalTech Library.

Procedure for Publication and Preservation of Graduation Thesis, Approved by Rector’s directive No. 60 of 27 February 2014

The library receives an electronic copy (pdf) with the required metadata of the graduation thesis and makes it publicly available not later than three months after the graduation thesis has been given a positive grade at the defence.

Access to graduation thesis may be restricted. The council of the faculty/college decides upon publication of graduation thesis. In case a graduation thesis is not subject to publication, only the summary of the graduation thesis is available in the digital collection of the library.

The digital collection contains nearly 4 500 graduation theses (May 2017). They are best found by using advanced search. Use the "All sections" dropdown list to select specific category (- graduation theses, - diploma theses, - bachelor theses or - master theses) for your search. Then the "Find full text" checkbox appears concurrently and you may filter out full text theses.

Each faculty/college shall individually decide upon preservation of graduation thesis on paper.
